Today we're headed to King's Dominion for our first summer day trip. but before we go I wanted to share a company with you that I am beginning to love.

It's basically a monthly surprise box program featuring mainly non-toxic nail polish and care products but also they may feature other beauty products like foundation, creams, etc. for a discounted price. The cost is $20 per box and each box includes usually 2-3 featured polishes and 1-2 other beauty related products. I have gotten 3 boxes so far and I'm loving it.

The items come carefully and cutely packaged with colorful shredded paper, ribbon, and baggies. The quality and color variety of the polishes has been more than satisfactory. I always look forward to getting my box every month. The contents of your box are based on your answers to the Maven style quiz and any other additional items offered that you may decide to purchase .

Well... It's actually more like polka dots.

I have been enamored with everything polka dots lately from household products to nail designs. I don't know what it is about the pattern that just makes me all giddy inside but I know I love it.

Here's a few of the polka dotted items I have recently acquired or added to my wish list...

I recently hosted a Pampered Chef party and purchased these wine glasses. I felt they were a great representation of me (or at least what I hope I portray). Classy and Fun.

This polka dotted cookie jar is on one of my Pinterest boards and I will be doing a DIY version of it very soon.

The DIY confetti drapes from Remodelaholic are right up my alley. I would love to do them in my son's room in another color of course :)

This lovely bright polka dot nail design from Oooh, Shinies! is pinned on my Pinterest board and I'm itching to try it out.

Love this polka dotted Kitchen Aid. Thanks to custom vinyl from Etsy even the stand mixer is seeing spots.

So last week I finally check off an item on my patio sprucing to do list. That was to repaint my patio table. I used Krylon spray paint in Island Splash and it was a fairly quick and simple project and it had a big effect. And after searching Google for ideas and tutorials it was go time.

A few tips I have for you if you plan to do this:

1. Make sure your table is clear of dirt and rust. I wiped my furniture down  first with vinegar to remove rust. Once that dried and the rust was gone I followed up with a dish detergent and water mixture.

2. Spray in quick short bursts whenever possible to be sure you cover the table and not your drop cloth. See my picture below for what I'm talking about. Because I let too much come out at once I ended up needing two cans of paint to finish the table. MAJOR WASTE!!!!
