Today was a pretty laid back day around the castle. We played games, watched a little Nick Jr. and Disney Jr., and made homemade lemonade. The final activity for the day was to be the pool but it rained just as we were ready to go. I mean RAINED, rained; the bottom fell out type of rain. But instead of letting it be a total bust, I decided to let my son have a little fun. He got to play in the rain. It was so funny to see him barely getting wet but squealing as if he was being drenched. At first I was a little apprehensive with my idea. Because I dint want to encounter any strange looks. But I put that out of my mind and dove right in. He had a BLAST and reminded me of the simple joys in a child's life.
I kinda wish I had joined in..... Maybe next time I will.
